10 of40 Turbine Engines Training
  Spinning TurboJet Engine
Air is first sucked inside the turbine engine by the compressor blades, which squeeze the air very tightly. Then it's mixed with fuel and burned in the combustion chamber. The hot air has a lot of energy now and shoots out of the back of the engine at high speed. Some of the energy from the hot air also turns the turbine blades, which are connected to and drive the compressor blades.
