  The first way I analyze this data is by figuring out the range. Range is the difference between the maximum and the minimum values in my data.
Maximum - Minimum = Range
The largest value, or maximum, is 42 feet, and the smallest value, or minimum, is 23 feet. So the range of my flight data is 19 feet.
