There are good reasons to hire more than one personal assistant. If you hire several people, you can alternate their schedules to allow each PA some time off. If you have only one employee, you must develop a backup system for times when the employee is sick or absent. Sharing the job may reduce burnout and increase the length of time a PA stays with you. Having more than one PA may make changes when an employee leaves a less urgent problem.
