The mean monthly earnings of persons of all ages with a disability which is not severe is $1,771. A person with a severe disability has monthly earnings of $1,422. By comparison, mean monthly earnings of people with no disability are $1,962.
Technical Note: Earnings are in 1991-1992 dollars. The figures reported for age groups in the chart below should be interpreted cautiously, as high standard error rates were reported in several categories, particularly among men with severe disabilities.
