Content Matrix

The six activities of the Dig Deeper CD, plus the supplemental Research Module included on the CD, have been designed to cover the Tobacco Prevention Content Objectives we've specified for ourselves. You can use this matrix to see which activities cover the content objectives you're most interested in.

The content matrix is divided into four sections, each of which contains several specific content objectives:

1. Personal behavior choice. When presented with an option to smoke, the learner will choose not to smoke.

2. Affirm non-smoking to others. When confronted with smokers or those considering smoking, learner will be able to give reasons why he/she decides not to smoke.

3. Cognitive knowledge of societal factors. Learner will be able to analyze some factors that influence smoking in society, be able to take corrective actions to reduce its prevalence.

4. Other subject areas. Social studies, math, science, computer skills, language arts.
