InfoUse is creating estimates for each state on how many people need and how many people use assistive technology. Relevant papers are presented here.

Lita Jans, AT Project Director, presented this paper at the meeting of the American Public Health Association in November, 2000. The paper presents preliminary estimates for 10 states.
InfoUse and the Institute for Matching Person and Technology conducted a nationwide survey of programs that offer training in assistive technology for formal credit. In developing the survey, we worked closely with the following working group of experts in the field of AT training:
A report on the survey results was presented at the RESNA conference in June 2002. It focused on exemplary practices in AT training.
InfoUse is conducting research on employment related assistive technology. Current papers are presented here.
"Mobility, Work & Assistive Technology"
This paper, presented at the meeting of the American Public Heath Association in October 2001, describes the results of a study of assistive technology and employment among people with mobility limitations, using data from the National Health Interview Survey.
